How are the glass cremation urns created?

All glass urns are designed to hold human ashes or pet ashes. The glass cremation urns are hand blown, starting with the melting of the sand, which comes from the very mother earth that supports our very lives. Each carefully hand crafted glass urn is signed and dated by the artist, and can be personally inscribed.

FAQ: How much ashes / pet ashes do the glass urns hold?

Our urns for ashes are created to hold approximately 175 cubic inches of human ashes / pet ashes, which would translate to a person weighing approximately 175 lbs at the time of their passing.

The glass cremation urns are approximately 10" to 11" tall by about 5" to 6" at the widest part in the middle.

FAQ: Will my urn ship with a topper?

Yes, all our glass urns ship with a topper created by the artist to compliment the urn. Custom color requests are welcome.

As well, should you wish, for an additional $100.00, we can infuse one teaspoon of your loved ones cremains into the swirl of colors and crystal in the topper. Many of our clients take comfort in this process and feel it to be a lovely way to memorialize their loved ones.

No, both glass urn and topper have enough opacity to their coloration that you would never see the cremation ashes through the urn or topper.
